Melbourne, Australia (May, 2025) – As stock hits Kordz Australia’s warehouse, their new PRO4 Series Active Optical HDMI cables have become available to order, offering 48Gbps bandwidth, 8K support, streamlined installation, enhanced interoperability and reliable performance at extreme lengths up to 100 metres.
Kordz, a renowned leader in HDMI cabling known for resolving many of the AV industry’s early HDMI challenges, is once again setting the bar for HDMI connectivity. As AV systems continue to evolve with increasingly advanced technologies, Kordz new PRO4 Series HDMI range is designed to provide integrators with enhanced performance and reliability, as the next generation of their PRO Series HDMI.

The new PRO4 Series AOC HDMI cables support data rates of 48Gbps, ensuring reliable performance from 7.5 metres up to 100 metres, without any external power required. It’s lightweight ABS connector assembly with gold-plated HDMI connector ensure secure connections, while the robust 4.7mm cable diameter and internal reinforcement withstand pull forces of up to 20kg.
Additionally, the PRO4 AOC HDMI cables are the first production of HDMI Optical Cable to pass DPL Labs’ new 48G Enhanced Reference Standard Platform, providing integrators with extra assurance of quality, reliability and performance for demanding AV installations.
As expected from Kordz, every cable in the PRO4 Series HDMI Cable range is individually tested during production, offers the appropriate fire-rated protection and is backed by extended warranties.
