CEDIA Australia Tech Summit & Conference 2023 – Kordz Recap!

The Australian CEDIA Tech Summit this year was held on the sunny Gold Coast at Sea World Resort, which made for an exciting week.

The Kordz team had a great time, and we all agree that it was a pleasure to catch up with everyone, speak with all our dedicated industry peers, and support CEDIA in Australia with education and our latest innovations.

Kordz was proud to be able to sponsor this popular CEDIA class again, providing our cabling products for the practical section of the class.

Christian Lambros, David Myer, Micheal Daly & Stuart Robertson provided the class with plenty of important information, tips & tricks and fundamentals to help understand the process of designing and creating professional, award worthy server racks.

We also had to opportunity to explain the benefits of SlimCat and how it’s changing the landscape for rack integration, saving space and helping with thermal management. 

CEDIA APAC Smart Home Awards 2023
The CEDIA APAC Awards night is always a lot of fun, this year was no exception being held within the Sea World Park Plaza! There were many truly remarkable projects showcased.

Congratulations to all the award winners, highly commended and finalists this year. Including our very own James Chen, who was named this year’s CEDIA Fellow!

We are also proud to be recognised as a member of CEDIA for over 15 years.

Kordz Termination Challenge
The popular Kordz Termination Challenge was held in Australia for the second time, during the Tech Summit, which allowed some of Australia’s best to show off their skills terminating Cat6 RJ45 connectors.

Robert Lees of Experience One achieved the quickest time of the event, with 47 seconds. The world record of 35 seconds set at Inetgrate is still untouchable!
