Kordz Announces New 28AWG Cat6A PRS SlimCat™ Network Cable System

Half the size of ordinary Cat6A and Cat6 cable and PoE++ compliant, Kordz’ new PRS and PRO SlimCat™ Network Cable Systems combine powerful performance with installation ease.

Kordz is spearheading the next evolution of Category 6A network cabling design and installation with the launch of a new professional, high-performance solution, PRS SlimCat™ Network Cable System. An extension of its multi-award-winning PRO SlimCat™ Network Cable System introduced earlier this year, the PRS SlimCat™ Network Cable features shielding to meet Cat6A specifications, is remarkably robust, thin and flexible, and supports data rates of 10Gbps up to 50 meters. Combined with POE++ compatibility at 100W, this end-to-end Cat6A-rated solution enables systems integrators to deliver consistent, reliable network connectivity for a wide range of commercial customers with demanding bandwidth requirements. In addition to supporting high-performance networking for bandwidth-intensive applications, the PRS SlimCat™ Cat6A Network Cable and matching Cat6A Shielded RJ45 Crimp Connectors and Cat6A Shielded Keystone RJ45 Sockets offer unprecedented space-saving advantages in dense rack installations and challenging retrofit applications.
